Thursday marks the start of the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children (Indiana AEYC) 2017 Early Childhood Conference. We couldn’t be more excited! Every year the conference provides training, networking opportunities, and keynote speakers for teachers, directors, and administrators—anyone involved in early childhood education. And, it’s a lot of fun.
The conference is one of Indiana AEYC’s signature events, and puts the association squarely in the spotlight. Why do we love Indiana AEYC? Let us count the ways:
Their commitment to quality education for young kids.
The Indiana AEYC has a 50+ year history in Indiana. So, they have years of data and research showing how high-quality care and education can help kids by leaps and bounds. It’s core to their mission to promote and support quality care for kids from birth through age eight.
Their support for early childhood education teachers.
The Indiana AEYC connects teachers, schools, and child care centers to grants and accreditations that promote professional development. In these testimonials, several child care professionals share how Indiana AEYC has helped them grow professionally.
Their resources for families looking for child care.
While the association works to promote quality care and education for young children, they also help families find that care in their own communities. And, Indiana AEYC provides links to all sorts of great early education and development resources that parents can use with kids at home.
